The road legal 07RK is specifically designed for smaller compact cars. It features similar outstanding dry and wet surface performance found in the 07RS, but is a harder compound that sacrifices a little outright grip for greater durability. As with the 07R and 07RS, the 07RK is a great all rounder that can cut competitive dry lap times but won't leave you struggling when the rain comes with two centre grooves to quickly and efficiently disperse water for improved wet traction.
There are two wing grooves at the outside wall with different lengths and angle. The longer groove assists in water channeling, enhances cornering performance and aids in self-cleaning. The shorter groove enhances directional stability. The lightning grooves enhance lateral traction for maximum side bite.
The addition of a solid centre rib improves traction under acceleration by providing a consistent contact patch with the road.
Small side dimples allow the drivers to easily check tyre wear and the effective contact patch area.
